This publication constitutes the court cases of the overseas convention on Adaptive and clever platforms, ICAIS 2014, held in Bournemouth, united kingdom, in September 2014. the nineteen complete papers integrated in those complaints including the abstracts of four invited talks, have been conscientiously reviewed and chosen from 32 submissions. The contributions are prepared less than the next topical sections: advances in function choice; clustering and category; adaptive optimization; advances in time sequence analysis.

Advances in Endogenous and Exogenous Opioids comprises the complaints of the foreign Narcotic study convention (Satellite Symposium of the eighth overseas Congress of Pharmacology) held in Kyoto, Japan on July 26-30, 1981. The convention supplied a discussion board for discussing advances which have been made within the knowing of endogenous and exogenous opioids and tackled a big selection of themes starting from novel opiate binding websites selective for benzomorphan medicines to the purification of opioid receptors and sequellae of receptor binding.
This publication constitutes the refereed court cases of the 4th overseas Workshop on perform and idea in Public Key Cryptography, PKC 2001, held in Cheju Island, Korea in February 2001. The 30 revised complete papers provided have been conscientiously reviewed and chosen from sixty seven submissions. The papers deal with all present matters in public key cryptography, starting from mathematical foundations to implementation concerns.

As soon as the transition probability and the emission probability matrices are estimated, and to rely on the initial parameters for the emission distributions. This would lead to less accurate models but may allow the use of a slightly larger number of visual-words. More investigation is needed to find an optimum between the number of words and the models’ accuracy needed. Even in this case, the number of words used will still be several orders lower usual dictionary sizes for this type of applications.

Classification is performed using nearest-neighbor (NN) and SVM classifiers. makes use of fractal analysis to describe textures at different resolutions. The authors provide an interesting comparison of multifractal spectrum (MFS) and histograms. Their analysis shows that MFS overcomes the issue of the loss of spatial distribution information inherent to histograms by providing a multilayer aspect to key points count. In comparison, we propose to use series of histograms over image patches to help maintaining partial information about the spatial distribution of the key points (textons).
