The inception of Students Forum came from the concept that the students themselves should be able to come up with the ideas and organize the activities which would be beneficial to them. Students Forum is a student organization at the department level. It is entirely managed by the students under the staff’s guidance. It is responsible for arranging all the Technical co-curricular and extra-curricular activities in the department.

Electrical Department Forum ELAN (Electrical League of Ampere’s Nexus) has been established by the students in session 2013-2014. Student’s forum is run by students for the students.

Objectives:

1.  Providing a platform for the holistic development of the students.
2. Ensuring that student activities are carried out smoothly under the staff’s guidance.
3. Develop contributing relations with the alumni and corporate.
4. Facilitating interaction among all the students of the department.
5. Motivating students to think from research perspective and develop a practicle approach towards studies.
6. Bringing out the leadership and the management qualities in the students.
7. Provide training and placement Assistance.
8. Provide a platform for students to express themselves through various forms of writing like research articles, comments on current topics, literacy/creative writing.
9. Encourage freedom of expression.
10. Provide a medium for exchange of thoughts and information.
