Roles
- To develop links between Industry and Institute through interaction programs.
- To identify and meet up the present day requirements of industries.
- To enhance the teaching learning process through different industrial activities.
Responsibilities
- To provide a platform for students and faculty members to develop skill set as per industry expectation.
- To encourage faculty members to use their expertise in solving the problems faced by the industries, thus creating opportunity for consultancy.
- To give industrial exposure to faculty members and students, thus enabling them to tune their knowledge to cope with the industrial culture.
- To assist the departments in organizing workshops, expert lectures & industrial visit.
- To support the departments in establishing link with industries to get industry based project.
- To encourage the students to visit a wide range of industries and technical exhibitions to keep them aware of current technological developments.
- To provide summer training / internship for pre-final year students to learn and experience the actual industry environment.
Following polices are formulated to develop links between Industry and Institute:
- To promote expert lectures, seminars and workshops, with joint participation of the faculty and the industries.
- To bring industry and institute together technically by signing Memorandum of Understanding.
- Industrial Training & Internship for students.
- Promoting visits of staff members and students to various Industries.
- Encouraging Industry based project.
- Industry institute interaction cell shall work in collaboration with training & placement department.
