Since its inception in 2008, S. B. Jain Institute of Technology, Management and Research, Nagpur has been imparting quality education to students of various disciplines such as Engineering, Technology and Management. A modern state of art infrastructure surrounded by lush greenery and a healthy environment renders the institute’s campus very attractive. Also, the clever landscaping enhances the beauty of the well-designed campus. The classrooms, laboratories, library, workshop and various administrative blocks are all carefully planned to afford spatial comfort to the students, teachers and administrative staff during working hours.

The office of the Dean of Students Affairs provides ample scope, opportunities, and facilities for the all-around development of personality and leadership qualities among the students. Along with their normal studies, students successfully manage a variety of co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Under the direction of the academic coordinators, a variety of student professional organizations, technical clubs, forums, activity clubs, games, sports, and professional societies are organized.

The Office of Dean of Students Affairs acts as a nodal centre to promote cooperation and fellowship among students on campus. It actively participates in organizing events for the benefit of students. Considering their challenges and socioeconomic diversity gives them the ability to express their talents and desires.

It seeks to promote peace on campus and societal harmony. Along with pursuing their academic goals, students are urged to showcase their talents and enhance campus life. The office also arranges for the pupils, meals, transportation, monitoring, and discipline. To encourage competition in the arts, youth activities are frequently designed with all-pervasive kindness and cheer. To achieve this goal, various national level, inter-university level technical and cultural events are planned and encouraged. In collaboration with the club coordinators, debates, symposia, and quizzes on current events are also conducted.

In addition to the aforementioned, students are encouraged to participate in various additional NSS, NCC, and sports events held throughout the year.
